Hear what our MUA patients say about the procedure…

Dianna:

“I was a passenger in a car that was rear-ended. The level of my pain immediately after the accident a year ago was very sharp and very deliberate and very strong and constant, and I couldn’t even sleep on my left hand side…And the neck area was impossible.

When I first met Dr. Pruitt, I was really impressed by him, by his knowledge and the way that he took me into his care, and the compassion that he had for me was exemplary. I’ve never met any doctor like that.”

Joanne:

“I had three herniated discs in my neck, C4, 5 and 6 and just a lot of muscle pain…It worked really well. It was very, very quick, very easy. Came in, they put an IV in, you go to sleep—it’s actually nice because you…relax. I felt no pain afterwards. I put ice on it for a couple of hours, though, and then I just got up and I actually felt better than I have in a long time. Huge difference, yes.

One of the things I told them when I came was I just wanted my life back. I had a lot of limitations, to where when I got finished with the procedure I felt I could do more of the things I enjoyed doing.”

Dan:

“I was up to 25 Vicodan a day trying to get through a day at work. The pain was so painful, it ran through down my legs—pain down both the legs, sometimes numb some days. And if I stopped taking the pills I couldn’t do nothing. The pain was just unbelievable and I’d get mad at people because it’s just so much pain. It just changes you. Now I feel great.

The first day of treatment they took the pressure off my tailbone and it’s just an unbelievable feeling when that pain was gone.”

Michelle:

“…when I came in, I think I rated it (pain) as an eight out of ten, and it was just constant. It never went away…Sciatic nerve pain down my right leg. I was only comfortable laying flat on my back on the floor. Sitting and moving any way was really painful.

I tried epidural shots, which had helped in the past, but this time they didn’t do anything…I tried doing the usual exercises, stretching, over the counter medications. I was trying to avoid surgery…Dr. Pruitt suggested the MUA and he gave me an article about it…it sounded too easy, but it made a big difference, because you get past the point of pain when you’re asleep and they manipulate you. They can move you in ways you can’t move on your own, because the pain stops you.”
